Coastal Seaplanes operates the mighty Cessna 206, known for its safety and reliability in the seaplane world. Our aircraft is configured with one pilot seat and three (3) passenger seats in order to accommodate luggage and cargo.
Charter Options with Coastal Seaplanes
At Coastal Seaplanes, we offer two versatile charter options to cater to your unique travel needs: Standby and Standard. Each option is designed to provide you with flexibility, convenience, and an exceptional travel experience.
Standby Charters
Our Standby charters are perfect for those who want to make the most of their time. Whether you wish to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner, run errands, or simply explore at your own pace, Standby charters offer you the flexibility you need. This option allows for a round trip with a short stay at your destination, giving you the freedom to board your return flight after completing your activities. Your pilot will standby with the aircraft for 1.5 hours free of charge. Passengers may purchase additional standby time for $150 per hour.
Standard Charters
For travelers looking to immerse themselves in their destination without a time constraint, our Standard charters are the ideal choice. These one-way or round trip flights allow you to explore your destination for as long as you like. With Standard charters, the aircraft completes two legs for each portion of a charter: a loaded leg and an empty leg. This flight time is calculated and included in your charter quote. To offer even more value, empty legs are priced at just 50% of the standard charter rate, making your journey both cost-effective and convenient. Should we be able to charter the aircraft to a different customer on one of these empty legs, that cost will transfer to them- saving you even more.

Boat Transfers: Flexibility at its Best
In locations such as Virginia Beach and Corolla, NC, we are proud to partner with local companies to coordinate a boat transfer. This involves safely transporting passengers and baggage between the seaplane and the dock utilizing a small boat or skiff, and is common practice with seaplane operations all over the world.
